Darrin Moorman is Senior Vice President of Engineering and Innovation at Moser Energy Systems and has been involved in the development of a wide range of advanced energy systems for more than 20 years. He is a U.S. Marine veteran with extensive work experience in EV development, advanced engine controls, power generation systems, combined heat and power units, energy storage solutions, and microgrid technologies. His work in distributed energy spans five continents in both commercial and military applications. Darrin holds two U.S. patents in hybrid power systems.

Darrin Moorman is Senior Vice President of Engineering and Innovation at Moser Energy Systems and has been involved in the development of a wide range of advanced energy systems for more than 20 years. He is a U.S. Marine veteran with extensive work experience in EV development, advanced engine controls, power generation systems, combined heat and power units, energy storage solutions, and microgrid technologies. His work in distributed energy spans five continents in both commercial and military applications. Darrin holds two U.S. patents in hybrid power systems.
During his tenure with Moser, Darrin has led the design and development of two groundbreaking technologies: the HybridGen (battery + generator) power system, and the REV Station mobile microgrid and EV charger.
Darrin’s 20+ years of experience include Project Manager and Test Engineer at GM, Manufacturing Engineer at Delphi Technologies, Product Manager at Power Solutions, Inc., and power systems consulting.
